CUTERA EXCEL V+

The Cutera Excel V+ is FDA-cleared and intended for treatment of a wide array of benign conditions using both wavelengths:

• Vascular lesions: telangiectasia, facial/leg veins, angiomas, port-wine stains, venous lakes, rosacea, diffuse redness, poikiloderma, hemangiomas
• Pigmented lesions: lentigines, nevi, ephelides, dyschromia, seborrheic keratoses
• Cutaneous lesions: warts, skin tags, bruising, acne scars, wrinkles, striae, pseudofolliculitis barbae, mild-to-moderate acne
• Hair removal: small-area hair reduction

CoolView Handpiece
Wavelengths: 532 nm & 1064 nm (switchable)
Spot Sizes: 2–16 mm (adjustable in small increments)
Cooling: Contact cooling with sapphire window (5–20 °C)

Primary Functions:

• Treats both superficial (532 nm) and deeper vascular lesions (1064 nm)
• Ideal for telangiectasias, rosacea, angiomas, leg veins, and venous lakes
• Also used for pigmented lesions (lentigines, sunspots) and small-area hair removal
• Large spot sizes allow fast treatment of extensive areas

Genesis V Handpiece
Wavelength: 1064 nm (Nd:YAG, micro-pulsed)
Mode: Non-ablative, low-fluence, micro-pulsed delivery

Primary Functions:
Collagen stimulation and dermal remodeling
Improves fine lines, scarring, pore size, and skin texture
Treats diffuse redness and rosacea at the dermal level
Popular for acne scarring, sebaceous hyperplasia, and early aging signs

Best For:

• Skin rejuvenation (non-ablative)
• Redness not caused by visible vessels
• Fine lines and texture concerns

Green Genesis Mode (within CoolView or dedicated interface)
Wavelength: 532 nm (KTP), micro-pulsed mode
Mode: Non-invasive, low-fluence
Delivery: Either via CoolView handpiece or preset within software

Primary Functions:

• Treats epidermal vascular conditions, especially background redness and flushing
• Ideal for patients who can’t tolerate full vascular spot treatments
• Gentle approach for sensitive skin or darker phototypes
